James Halliday Reviews 2011 Galafrey Wines , Premium Wines Mount Barker WA

4.5 star wine
 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Pale straw-green; a fragrant and aromatic bouquet with gooseberry, guava and citrus sets the scene for a palate with good drive and length to its positive fruit flavours. Screwcap.
13.5% alc. Rating 93 Drink 2012 $18 Date Tasted Dec  09

Reserve Dry Grown Mount Barker Shiraz 2006
Good colour; a fragrant bouquet with a mix of red and black fruits, spice and a hint of pepper; the light- to medium-bodied palate has good length and balance. Screwcap.
12.5% alc. Rating 91 Drink 2016 $35 Date Tasted Dec 09

Dry Land Reserve Mount Barker Riesling 2009
Some spicy notes on the bouquet, then moves decisively to mouthfilling, lime-accented flavours, surprisingly full given the modest alcohol. Screwcap.
11.5% alc. Rating 91 Drink 2016 $20 Date Tasted Dec 09

 Mount Barker Unoaked Chardonnay 2009
Offers more than the majority in this style, with tangy grapefruit and stone fruit flavours running through the generous palate. Screwcap.
13% alc. Rating 90 Drink 2012 $18 Date Tasted Dec 09

4 star wine
Reserve Semillon 2009
Bright green yellow, suggesting some skin contact perhaps; has a mix of citrus, stone fruit and oak on the medium-bodied palate. Screwcap.
14% alc. Rating 89 Drink 2014 $22 Date Tasted Dec 09

I have known Kim for years about the social media scene, Down Unders, and so I have decided to show you their message to us once complete.

Here we see the enthusiasm on the progress in Winestate Magazine votes combined with the fresh language of young winemakers.

I like this natural, young nature of the speech, certainly thanks to Facebook, Digg and various blogs on www. Doch lesen Sie selbst: But read for yourself:

2010 Vintage Review
