About Galafrey Wines

Galafrey Wines is a family-owned winery in Mount Barker, Western Australia, with all wines grown, nurtured and bottled on the estate.

Founded by Ian and Linda Tyrer in 1977, Galafrey remains proudly hands-on today, with Linda Tyrer, Kim Tyrer and Nigel Rowe continuing the family legacy.

Our cool-climate vineyard produces Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and the rare Müller-Thurgau variety — known for its light, fruit-driven style.

From vineyard to bottle, every wine reflects the character of Mount Barker and the Great Southern region.
