Vintage Comments
The 2024 vintage started around two weeks later than recent years, reminding us of earlier Great Southern seasons. A wet winter and spring were followed by intense summer heatwaves and strong easterly winds. Autumn arrived early, bringing significant rainfall and cooler conditions.
With average temperatures sitting around 22–14°C, slow ripening was the defining feature of the season. Well-prepared vineyards and experienced winemakers were rewarded. White wines from 2024 show excellent acidity, freshness and ageing potential.
